Leslies Tagaytay

Emilio Aguinaldo Highway Silang West, Tagaytay City
(046) 413 1065

I've been hearing Leslies Tagaytay for quite some time and I heard that food is great. The Alabang branch which caters buffet is already closed.

Since I'm in tagaytay, I decided to eat Leslies.

Parking is spacious though its dark, they have someone to guide drivers on their parking.

Leslies has a viewing deck on top with a short hanging bridge. It's kinda dark so I didnt bother going there but I believe the view would be amazing if I was there on daylight.

Here is the Entrance, The restaurant is well designed. I like it. Also Spacious, Big tables. Toilet is clean, has running water and odorless.

Aside from the clean and cold refreshing air, they have these people who will serenade you while eating, their voice is really good and you can request a song from them. They went to our table and sang, Gave them a tip 100 pesos.

Food price is quite expensive but lets see if its worth it.

Ordered the famous bulalo of tagaytay. I asked the waiter whats the difference between bulalo special and bulalo original. The waiter told us that there will be vegetables on the special. So okay, I'll order the special then.

Food serving is fast.

Here it is. It looks delicious (YES! it LOOKS delicious but...).

But the soup is not hot, Took some corn and its COLD!!! Seriously? Thats why it took so fast because they just took the vegies from the fridge and the soup from a different container which is not hot. The soup has also a weird taste. It tastes like shrimp soup! (did they made a mistake). The bonemarrow is my favorite part of bulalo but its a big disapointed because its like a frozen oil. I can feel them on my lips and inside my mouth. Fats are building up. Its a waste of time and money.

Rice... Oh no.. Seriously? This is not the rice that should be served on a restaurant. It looks like they bought the 29 pesos per kilo rice. This is not Dinorado or Milagrosa or Jasmine. Texture and taste is near NFA rice. McDonalds and Jolibee doesnt serve rice like this. I'm so disapointed.

Lets talk about Customer Service. No one greeted us when we enter. We escorted ourselves to the seat where we want to seat and thats the time a waiter went to us just to tell the table that we want is reserve. ok great. So ok we'll settle to another seat. Im surprised when the waiter said "Sir, yung condiments nasa kabilang table. (Sir, the condiments are on the next table", What? Did he really just said that? He did not bother transferring it to our table. He is so lazy.

Overall impression is BAD. I would recoment you not waste your money there. 950 pesos is wasted. The view is good and the restaurant ambiance is good. BUt the quality of food and customer service is bad. I wouldnt go back there again. The small bulaluhan in Mahogany Drive is far more better than this and also half the price (Bulalo in Mahogany Drive is 300 pesos while in leslies its 599)

Here's my rating
1 - Lowest // 10 - Highest
Food: 2/10
Drinks: 9/10
Customer Service: 5/10
Ambiance: 9/10
Value for Money: 2/10
